I absolutely love the tone that Justin Chancellor captured on the 10,000 days album. But to make it even better, he collaborates so well with Danny Carey to provide a driving rhythm section for which Tool is known. I don't think that Justin gets enough credit for the work that he does, give it a listen-I sit back in awe every time and I am still amazed at how well everything fits together, and the technicality of it all. Word.

I must agree with the sugar hater. But the only thing that sucks about tool is that the bass line from schism is the most horribly played line on the bass when people who think they can play.... play it for example myself. every time i pick up a bass i have to play that song but i murder it. By murder i mean i take out a shot gun and blow the song to pieces haha.

I don't think he's really all that great, but he does his thing very well.
