Lowden Original series represents the heritage of George Lowden’s first range of instruments dating back to 1976.  Available in all of the Lowden body sizes and with a variety of tone wood combinations the Original series carries on the Lowden tradition of passionate commitment to no compromise quality.

Lowden 34 Series guitars feature gorgeous Koa back and sides and Sitka Spruce tops.  Koa is a lighter tone wood known for an excellent response to playing dynamics and pleasant tonal richness.  These guitars enable players to have maximum ‘touch’ response for controlling not only volume but also tonal nuance.  The F body enhances the warm, full and clear sound with very focused projection and responsiveness.  These instruments are perfectly at home with flat-picking or fingerstyle applications for a very versatile instrument.  Tuned to regular pitch or any open tuning the F-34 is a fantastic instrument of un-paralleled quality.
