Lowden 23 Series guitars feature Walnut back and sides paired with Red Cedar tops.  This classic wood combination produces the warmth of cedar with the dynamic harmonies of walnut with rich harmonic overtones at all volumes. These guitars enable players to have maximum ‘touch’ response for controlling not only volume but also tonal nuance.  In an S body shape this guitar is a workhorse for many playing styles where responsiveness and tonal richness are desired.
