The PRS Custom 24 “Birds of a Feather” Limited Edition celebrates one of PRS’s most defining guitar models. Limited to just 360 pieces, it features the PRS Birds of a Feather inlay – previously available only through Private Stock. This distinctive interpretation of PRS’s iconic bird inlays was designed by Director of Manufacturing and head of Private Stock, Paul Miles, ten years ago. Pairing this striking inlay with the Custom 24 transforms this versatile instrument into a true statement piece.

This limited edition delivers the wide-open tonal character and effortless playability that made the original a modern classic, while the Birds of a Feather inlay elevates it to an instrument equally suited to the stage, studio, or private collection.

“I wanted to design an inlay that was simple and easy to read from across the room or on a stage but was also uniquely PRS. I have always been fascinated with inlay work and PRS has afforded me the opportunity to see the evolution from hand cut shell to intricate CNC work. For me, this was a new way of looking at inlay design, using the woods to create movement and space,” said Paul Miles, Director of Manufacturing.

The Custom 24 Birds of a Feather Limited Edition retains everything players love about the Custom 24 model: a figured maple top, mahogany back, 25” scale length, 24 frets, PRS Gen III tremolo, and dynamic PRS DMO pickups. These pickups offer exceptional clarity, balance, and vocal response, while the 5-way blade switch provides a broad range of humbucking and single-coil-inspired tones for virtually any musical setting. The Pattern Thin mahogany neck offers a fast, familiar feel, while PRS Phase III locking tuners and the patented Gen III tremolo ensure remarkable tuning stability and resonance.
