The ESP Original Series is ESP's top tier of production models (AKA, not custom built), they come out of the ESP Japan Custom Shop and are absolutely incredible instruments with some of the gorgeous finishes that ESP is known for! This ESP Original Series Eclipse Custom is such a wonderful representation of what the ESP Original Series is all about - incredible guitars with amazing craftsmanship.
The Eclipse Custom features a set-neck construction with a mahogany body and maple cap to give you that classic single cut electric guitar tone and feel. It also has a mahogany neck with ebony fretboard. While it is not a James Hetfield signature model, this guitar does feature the EMG "Het Set" pickups for a super metal tone. Other appointments include a graphite nut, ESP strap locks, Gotoh locking tuners, TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a Gotoh tailpiece. The unique Blue Liquid Metal finish covers the whole instrument (including the neck) for an eye catching look with every instrument featuring this finish getting a one-of-a-kind look due to the nature of the finish.
