The 60 Series is Larrivee's Traditional Rosewood Series, featuring vintage features like a flat top slotted headstock, hand carved volute, and diamond inlays. The vintage stylings also include casted bronze tuning machines featuring design work by Wendy Larrivee. The 60 Series features Larrivee's highest grade of East Indian Rosewood for the back and sides of the instrument, paired with a wonderful and balanced Sitka Spruce top and Larrivee's Parabolic Hybrid Bracing this creates a tonal masterpiece.
The Larrivee SD-60 takes the traditional 'slope shoulder' dreadnought design with 12 fret neck to body joint and enhances the tonal response and dynamics creating an instrument of outstanding flexibility. Strumming, single note phrases, and fingerstyle approaches will al produce extremely detailed response and harmonic overtones.
We opted to order this model in Larrivee's custom vintage Tobacco Sunburst top to add to the instrument's vintage aesthetic.
