Breedlove is one of our favorite acoustic guitar builders in the world right now, and their Oregon series which uses Myrtlewood as the back and side woods to pay tribute to the great state of Oregon where they build guitars and where Myrtlewood natively grows.

Each year they release a limited edition run of their best selling Oregon series with a limited edition color finish that further pays tribute to their state. It started in 2016 with the Oregon 'Rogue' with a gorgeous blue-green finish that resembled the Rogue River that runs through Oregon, then in fall of 2016 they released the Oregon Manzanita with a deep red finish to represent the Manzanita tree that grows throughout Oregon, then last year (in 2017) they released the Oregon 'Emerald' with a stunning deep green finish representing the emerald gemstones that are mined in Oregon.

This year they have selected an absolutely fantastic deep blue finish with tiny metallic flakes dusted throughout, this finish represents the cobalt element which is found richly in Oregon. This absolutely jaw-dropping finish may be our favorite one to date. And in addition to the rich blue color, they have also added abalone purfling to the top and 'Legacy Wave' inlays to further the stunning appearance of this instrument.

Not only does this instrument look incredible, but it sounds even better (the Oregon series did not become a best seller just by sitting there lookin' pretty). So you know you've gotta get your hands on one! But you'd better hurry, because only 25 of these beauties were made!
